BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) is an independent fire safety body for registering fire safety products and services over the UK.
As a national independent register BAFE accredited companies have been assessed independently to measure the efficiency of fire rated products, risk assessments and fire detection products.
BAFE manages its schemes depending on quality standards, industry practice and third-party guidance to ensure the competency accurately. There are multiple BAFE schemes available and vary depending on the fire safety service. Also, with committed monitoring for these schemes, registration is reviewed o ensure that the highest competency levels in the industry are being maintained.
BAFE industry partners are assessed exclusively by UKAS accredited bodies for their quality-control and product safety. These Assessments, licenced by BAFE, are conducted regularly to ensure quality evidence of the competency of the company.
