| Assistance at the touch of a button |
Staff attack alarms are ideal for any working environment where staff are at risk from other people, for example: Social workers, prison guards, psychiatric nurses, healthcare workers, retail staff and security guards. All personal activation units and panic alarms on the market are not only discreet but extremely easy to use. Most can be used as an alarm and will also summon assistance, all by the touch of a button. Attack alarms work by flooding the room with an infra-red or radio frequency signal which is triggered after someone presses their button, activating the transmitter. These signals are received by a special detector which will instantly inform the system that there is an attack under way. A loud alarm is then produced throughout the building and the security staff are told of the location of the incident, which will show on all displays. The advanced radio and infra-red technology means the signal will be received whether the staff member is inside or outside the building. |
